Traditionally, wedding ceremonies involved separate tea ceremonies for each family. The bride and groom would offer tea to their respective families, with parents and relatives bestowing gifts, imparting advice on married life, and most importantly, offering their blessing to the union. Historically, the tea contained lotus flowers, symbolizing true love, and red dates, representing a happy life. Given their high cost, these ingredients served as a tangible expression of the families’ well wishes for the couple’s future. However, with changing times, many couples now opt for a simpler ceremony with just green tea.

The heartfelt wedding ceremony unfolded in the villa’s picturesque garden, adorned with a stunning flower arch. As my photos capture, the wedding decor was a visual masterpiece, combining vibrant tropical hues with the lush greenery and breathtaking ocean vista.
